“Secrecy is the keystone to all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy and censorship. When any government or church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, “This you may not read, this you must not know,” the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man who has been hoodwinked in this fashion; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, whose mind is free. No, not the rack nor the atomic bomb, not anything. You can’t conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him.”

| “There’s a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state. The other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.”
Words written for a television show and spoken by an actor, nevertheless ring true. |
We are all Winston Smith
Dear Leader is using Orwell’s 1984 as a playbook
Trump speak is Newspeak
Ministry of Truth (Minitrue) -The ministry of propaganda.
Ministry of Peace (Minipax) – The war ministry
Ministry of Love (Miniluv) – enforces loyalty to Big Brother through fear
Ministry of Plenty (Miniplenty) – oversees rationing of food, supplies, and goods
And he’s not even trying to hide it:
• Appoint unqualified sycophants to cabinet posts in order to clinch absolute power
• Pardon violent rioters to build the ranks of his Sturmabteilung
• Give unfettered access to sensitive data to an unelected billionaire ass-kisser so he can spy on his subjects
• Fire tens of thousands of essential experienced government workers who keep our country running
• Replace experienced military leaders with less experienced, less qualified, members who pledge their loyalty to him, while downplaying their oaths to The Constitution
• Start a trade war with our North American allies that has already flamed inflation
• Promote chaos, thus making financial markets volatile
•Lie, Lie, Lie until his followers can’t recognize the truth
Frankly, if you don’t see all this in Dear Leader’s daily actions, you aren’t paying attention.
